OSCILLATIONS

Detect and record earthquakes using a Seismometer, investigate free, forced, and chaotic oscillations with the Torsion Pendulum, use the Gravity Pendulum to determine the period of oscillation as a function of the pendulum length and of the acceleration due to gravity. Experiment with the Rotation Apparatus to determine the angular acceleration as a function of torque and the moment of inertia as a function of the distance of the body from the axis and its mass.
