This control unit controls the ESR module and the NMR module, allowing the following topics to be explored and experiments to be performed:_..

This control unit is required to operate the ESR module (item no.: 1022705). Together, the two devices enable the investigation of electron spin resonance (ESR) of the unpaired electron in DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) molecules.
It is also required to operate the NMR module (item no.: 1022706) and investigate nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) in glycerin, polystyrene, and Teflon®.
The resonances are observed by means of radio-frequency-induced transitions as the external magnetic field is varied. The resonance absorption curves can be displayed using a simple two-channel oscilloscope or WiLab.
This control unit supplies the control voltages and supply voltages required by the ESR or NMR module, conditions the measurement signal for display on an oscilloscope, and displays the frequency of the RF signal.
