1. How to order

Simply click on the “Add To Cart” button next to your product selection. In the shopping “Cart” you can change quantities, add more products and/or delete items.

In the “Check Out” you are asked to enter certain information so that we can ensure that the ordered product reaches you and that we can contact you by telephone and / or email in case there are questions to be cleared regarding your order. Of course all your information will be handled confidentially.

2. Prices & Tax

The prices you see on the product pages include VAT. Shipping and handling will be added according to order size, and shown in the Final Order Screen. For orders to be shipped to Ireland, please ask for carriage quote. Your credit card will be first debited once your order is ready to ship.

We make every effort to ensure accuracy in pricing and product specifications. Unfortunately, sometimes information is published incorrectly. We will honour pricing and product specifications to the best of our ability, but reserve the right to correct typographical errors. We will try to inform you of any product discrepancies before you order is processed.

3. Delivery Schedule

We will process your order immediately and shipment will normally follow within 5 days of receipt of payment. Occasionally, in exceptional circumstances, delivery may be delayed. Should the product you ordered not be in stock we will send you an email confirmation highlighting the estimated delivery time. Should this not be acceptable to you, then a return email is sufficient to cancel your order.

4. Security

Our web site is encrypted with 128 Bit SSL technology. The certificate has been issued by Comodo. If you should wish more information about the issuing company please click on this link. It is possible that some browsers do not support SSL encryption. Should you not get a message that the transmission is encrypted then please check your browser Set Up or use another browser for example IE 5.0 or higher.

5. Built to last - 3B Scientific Warranty

1. Warranty

a) For all products sold by 3B Scientific or a 3B Scientific company we grant a warranty period of 1 year, beginning at the date of invoicing. Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.

b) For products carrying the 3B Scientific® brand name we extend the warranty to 3 years.

c) In addition, for 3B Scientific® Anatomy products which are registered as part of the 3B Smart Anatomy program, we extend the warranty to 5 years from the date of product registration.

d) A product shall be considered defective if, at the time of delivery, it does not conform to the agreed specifications, is damaged, or is materially faulty due to manufacturing or material defects.

e) The warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from improper handling or use, normal wear and tear, insufficient maintenance, misuse, or use for purposes other than intended.

f) 3B Scientific may, at its discretion:
  • repair the product,
  • replace it with an equivalent or equivalent refurbished product, or
  • refund the current original value of the product.

g) B2B customers shall bear the shipping costs to 3B Scientific or the authorised distributor the product was purchased from.

2. Extended Warranty

a) 3B Scientific offers customers the option to purchase an extended warranty for certain products for an additional fee.

b) The extended warranty can only be purchased at the time of purchase of the respective product or prior to the expiry of the original 1 year warranty.

c) The extended warranty extends the statutory warranty period by 1 additional year and does not cover defects or damage resulting from improper handling or use, normal wear and tear, insufficient maintenance, misuse, or use for purposes other than intended and/or worn parts and consumables.

d) The extended warranty is tied to the product and is not transferable to third parties unless the entire product is lawfully resold. To activate the extended warranty, you must register the product in 3B Smarter Simulation.

3. Warranty Procedure

In the event of any warranty claim, contact the 3B Scientific company or authorized distributor from whom you bought the product. Please provide proof of purchase and if applicable a proof of purchase of the extended warranty. To approve the claim 3B Scientific is entitled to inspect the product or request its return.

6. No risk buying

If you are dissatisfied with a 3B Scientific® product for whatever reason, simply return it to us within 14 days in the original packaging (if possible) and with a copy of the invoice for a refund. Please call or mail in advance for an RMA number.

8. WEEE regulations

Under the terms of the WEEE regulations, UK3B Scientific Limited will accept back for re-cycling any electrical products supplied by us.
