This measuring amplifier amplifies low-amplitude measurement signals from low-impedance signal sources for measurement with any voltmeter or oscilloscope. When using an external shunt resistor R_Shunt , small currents can also be measured. Offset voltages can be compensated using offset controls for coarse adjustment and fine adjustment. The gain can be selected in steps from 0 to 5 powers of ten. High-frequency noise or other interference signals are filtered out by a low-pass filter with a switchable stepwise time constant between 0 and 3 s. The output voltage has the same sign as the input voltage.
