Application: ..
This sensor can be used, for example, for:..
• measuring the magnetic field near a (strong) permanent magnet,
• investigating the magnetic field near a current-carrying wire,
• measuring the magnetic field near or within a coil or air-core solenoid.

Product Information: ..
This magnetic field sensor contains a Hall sensor that is sensitive to magnetic fields. The Hall sensor is located at the probe tip of the stainless steel tube, at the 0 cm position indicated on the metal tube. The face of the Hall sensor is oriented perpendicular to the axis of the stainless steel tube, and the sensor is most sensitive when the metal tube is positioned parallel to the magnetic field lines. The sensor is therefore very suitable for measuring the magnetic field inside coils or near (very strong) permanent magnets.
The magnetic field sensor has two measuring ranges that can be selected using a switch.
