These Helmholtz coils are essential components for determining the specific charge of an electron (e/m) using a fine beam tube (item no. 8000667 / 8000668). In addition, when combined with the rotating induction coil (item no. 1013131), the Helmholtz coils can be used in experiments investigating induction.
