The function generator FG100 features internal and external sweep functions and includes a power amplifier for use in experiments for students and university lab courses. For example, a wide variety of experiments involving oscillations, alternating current, and induction can be conducted using the generator.

The equipment outputs sinusoidal, triangular, and square-wave voltages with adjustable amplitude and frequency. The built-in power amplifier allows currents of up to 1 A.
The generator provides 3 operating modes within the frequency sweep function: external, internal continuous, and internal single. In the internal sweep modes, a trigger pulse is generated for each sweep, and a voltage proportional to the frequency is provided simultaneously. The last setting in sweep mode is saved in the function generator.
The function generator features a backlit digital display for frequency, waveform, offset, and other parameters. The output is short-circuit protected and also protected against induced voltages and spark discharges.
The device is equipped with flip-down feet. It is powered by a 12 V AC plug-in power supply.
