The ESR module is intended for use with the ESR-NMR control unit (item nos. 1022700 and 1022702) for the investigation of electron spin resonance in 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH).

Observation of the resonances is carried out by radio-frequency-induced transitions while varying the external magnetic field. The resonance absorption curves can be displayed using a simple two-channel oscilloscope (oscilloscope not included in the scope of delivery).
The set consists of the factory-calibrated module with the pair of coils, the ESR probe with an RF Coil, a DPPH sample, and an empty reference sample.
A test report is supplied with every ESR module.
