Wheel on axle

For a vivid demonstration of mechanical advantage and conservation of energy. Fitted with four coaxial pulleys of 35, 50, 65, and 105 mm diameter. The wheel is fitted with a ball bearing, which turns on a single steel rod. The apparatus can be held in place with a simple standard laboratory right angle clamp.
