$ 79.00

Tarantula is one of the world's largest spiders. In front of the eight legs, there is a pair of leg like appendages called pedipalps which the spider uses as feelers. The large jaws inject poison into the prey and, as with all spiders; the food is sucked into the body as a liquid. The large abdomen has two pairs of book lungs, like fish gills, which must be kept moist to absorb air. This real Tarantula specimen was carefully selected before being embedded in clear acrylic. Dimensions: 140 x 96 x 45 mm.
